Q: What is a PhotoBooth? A: PhotoBooths are very simple. Guests are invited to enter an automated PhotoBooth which takes 6 pictures at timed intervals. Moments later the pictures are printed so they can be shared with other guests or cut out and placed into a scrapbook creating a more contemporary style guest book. Q: What is the hourly rate for the booth? A: Hourly rates for the PhotoBooth depend on the length of time for which the booth is rented. We offer 4, 6, and 8 hour packages. You may review our PRICE SHEET or call the office to get a quoted rate for your event. Q: Who sets up the booth and what happens if something goes wrong? A: The advantage of using Pittsburgh PhotoBooth is we are there for the duration of the event. We come and set up the booth and stay so that there are no concerns. If there are any questions or issues we are there to address them. Q: Are the photos color or black & white? A: The color of the photos is something that is decided once the person gets into the PhotoBooth. Each person can pick whether they would like color or B&W once they begin the process. Q: How many photos can you take? A: The amount of pictures is unlimited for the amount of time the PhotoBooth is rented. The price of the rental includes all photos and we do not charge for each individual photo taken. Q: How many pictures does it take for each person? A: The total amount of pictures that are taken at each sitting is 6. The PhotoBooth will take all 6 pictures and then process the pictures about 10 to 15 seconds after the last picture is taken. Q: What size is the PhotoBooth? How much does it weigh? A: The PhotoBooth is 2.5 feet wide, 6.5 feet tall, and 5 feet long. The Photobooth is something that has to have an accessible ramp for installation. Total weight is 750 lbs, and we need to have access for the Photobooth to be brought into your location that will accept a pallet jack. We can not take the booth up stairs or a regular elevator. Q: What does a sample of the photos look like? A: The photo has 6 pictures total on the card, 3 on each side of the message in the middle of the photo. This page shows various samples. Q: Can I get copies of the photos? A: One copy of photos print immediately and the guests can take it with them. You can elect to record all photos that have been taken and get them burned to a CD. This is something that requires payment of an additional charge and we need to know in advance to set up the recording of the photos.
